An Instant in Forever

A day only lasts a day,
But the light keeps moving,
As it continues to shine.
Everlasting and unending,
Warmth and life sending,
Just as the life of souls,
Never parted when joined.

Time apportioned is for needs,
Organizing the tasks we make,
Understanding why things fade,
As entropy does take its place,
Yet entropy is only an image,
For all images come and go,
While truth is everlasting.

Energy continues as always,
For energy can not be destroyed,
We can not understand its source,
Though the face of love never ages,
And the Lord of Time never changes,
As we follow free will in His plan,
Understanding joy hand in hand,
As forever unfolds in beauty.

Reality's Illusion

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." - Albert Einstein

Time confounds the space of things,
And illuminates with illusion,
That nothing is for real,
As all fades into night,
Within the metronome of thunder,
And the pendulum of light.

For we pass within the light of day,
Not seeing those who were,
Walking on the same ground,
With invisible closed doors,
Picturing in terms of now,
All who were before.

Time counts footsteps in this corridor,
Raising walls between each hallway,
Not seeing all that was still is,
Blocked by the forces of entropy,
Concealing all that was from is,
And all that is to be.

We realize the scope within our minds,
And the affect upon decisions,
For all is vast without limits,
And that knowledge removes confusion,
Seeing our place in perpetuity,
Understanding reality’s illusion.

The Temporal Lie

Feet are never facing down,
While walking upon the Earth,
Gravity gives us that illusion,
To help deal with confusion,
But not with the physical,
Which seems physical all the time,
Yet touched upon in messages,
Upon the walls of time.

These corridors we travel,
Backpedaling forward,
As none can travel forward,
In a continuum of all directions,
Though trapped within the moment,
We stride within our race,
Constricted within illusion,
From the magnificence of space.

Our words are meaningless sounds,
In which meanings are agreed,
As we relate within confusion,
An ocean of distractions,
In the quest of life truths,
For only ideas can be pure,
As we sort with borrowed breath,
Dividing the clear from the obscure.

Observed walls of dimensions,
Are but a paper house,
Thinly veiling the incalculable,
Within the continuous unheard howling,
Beyond which the Absolute,
Existing from before the start,
Orchestrates music of infinity,
From love within the heart.

And so we see ourselves,
A brief flicker in the darkness,
Yet the truth is in the heart,
Our souls will ever shine,
Adding to eternal music,
Though we thought we could never,
For our every thought and deed,
Shapes life’s song forever.

Potential

What can be done today,
Is missing from tomorrow,
A challenge overcome,
For challenges to come,
One gives way to the other,
As potential energy realized,
Becomes energy in the real,
Reality around us,
Altering the path to come,
Changing who we are,
Just a bit,
Just a little bit,
For once today is past,
Its ghost escapes our grasp,
Yet the things we have done,
Form ground for things to come,
And if Heaven is a real place,
Then what’s to come is perfect,
Leaving things to do now,
Which only exist in imperfection,
As none will need help in Heaven,
None will require learning,
Nothing will need to be created,
As all will be in perfect beauty,
Forever.

What enters our souls,
Carries greater effect,
Than what enters our bodies,
As changes in who we are,
Form changes in reality,
Forming change in others still,
Stilling the chilling truth,
That everything matters,
Just a bit,
Sometimes more,
For the energy of hidden thought,
Exists in the reality of life,
Showing time in reality,
With no forwards or back,
As all is seen together,
In the reality of this universe,
In the reality of God’s sight,
Beyond the illusion of our vision,
Trapped in the veil of entropy,
Using borrowed breath,
So that in a short space of time,
We gather meaning in purpose,
Gathering souls in our hands,
Adding love to life’s song,
Eternally.

Bringer of Darkness

I do not fear the Bringer of Darkness,
as I serve the Creator of Light.

Within a state of flux,
It is everywhere and nowhere,
Both in and out of time,
Touching all of our time streams.
No eyes with to see,
It can see us in the night,
Never needing sleep,
Filling fears into dreams.
When our eyes do wake,
Within the twilight blur,
A glimpse of darkened form,
Is all that we may see.
A shapeless motion movement,
From the corner of the eye,
Unsettled dust in motion,
In daylight comes to be.
Companion of the darkness,
With fear as its blood,
Pumped with eternal fury,
Within a heart of pain.
Looks for peace to devour,
With the bait of doubt,
And our souls in the balance,
With all to loose or gain.
In the shadow of the companion,
I continue on my journey,
For many cry out in darkness,
As only pain they see.
So that through the words God gives,
With my wife by my side,
We may shine light into darkness,
That these souls may be free.

The Infinate Singularity

How is a universe like a life?

Without dimension or light,

Infinite potential,
All history contained,
Reality pours forth,
In an explosion of light,
All directions explored,
In harmonic symphony,
Filled with mystery,
In voids of darkness,
Yet the voids are a shroud,
Concealing dimensions,
To the three we perceive.

Yet such is a life,
An explosion of creation,
Self willed inspiration,
Setting into motion,
Forever’s being,
With much unseen,
Through voids of purpose,
Though the heart is in motion,
With meaning becoming clear,
In the reflection of our universe,
Which does differ from a life,
As our universe may have bo

The Face at The Window

Visitation occurs without warning,
With no regard to age or beauty,
Within a night of peace and joy,
Beneath a moon of placid skies,
A face will appear at a window,
And the cries echo into the night.

She was young and full of life,
Inclined to music and laughter,
On a night mother was away,
Eyes looked at her through the glass,
With her purity and life removed,
In her blood she breathed her last.

Another with family full and large,
Charmed of wit and excellence,
She persevered with mind and heart,
Till the gaze came though the glass,
And slower she breathed each day,
Until the night her spirit rose.

No mortal can stand in the way,
Or turn away from his gaze,
Where there is a window and a heart,
There pain he comes to impart,
Yet I asked why he keeps me here,
He said, “You are doomed to share the fear.”

Not knowing what must come to pass,
His gaze did find me in the night,
My shouts did not touch his nerve,
Nor did he blink with all my words,
Vanishing for a second with lightning flash,
Through out the night his gaze did last.

Still my calling I can not fear,
As many walk through the darkest shadows,
Not knowing what to hold to in darkness,
Not seeing as there is no light for the eyes,
Yet as long as there is light in my heart,
I will reach out my hand.

One much stronger is always near,
His voice resounding, “Do not fear”.
“I have given you a chalice full of light,
Do not falter in this fight.”
With all my strength I take his flame,
That I may smite the visitor with perfect aim.
